- train and supervise prisoners in commercial and service industry work areas
- maintain safe workplaces by following security, safety and operational procedures
- monitor production, stock, records and equipment to support daily operations
- coach prisoners to build practical skills and improve future employment opportunities
- work with your team to improve processes, complete reports and meet production goals.
- experience working in a trade or industrial setting while meeting production targets
- knowledge of prison industry procedures or the ability to learn them quickly
- understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and safe work practices
- strong teamwork, resilience and communication skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
